So I have never been in love,
Damn that’s weird to say out loud,
Its like a cloud over my head,
Dull and dark eclipsing my heart,
It is neither joyous nor painful,
Its just the destiny of my existence,
But is my fate to be forever alone,
Is my life full, with only a single entity?
Is human nature solely based on companionship,
Do I have to be head over knees,
To be considered human?
Or am I an animal,
That’s why I can’t find love,
I look left and right,
To my friends and kin,
Each falling in love one at a time,
Changing their nature for better or worse,
Marriages upheld and divorces filed,
I ask when two become one,
Is that love.
Is love the goosebumps of hair rising ontop of your skin,
Is love just a tradition?
Is it just a way of life?
Is love even real or just unexplainable,
Or is it just a figmentation of everyone imagination?
I don’t know do you.

Tick tok tick tok tick tok,
The wheels of time are ever-moving,
A cog in constant motion,
Not even the greatest intellectuals,
Have been able to harness its power,
Mysteriously we have engineered life,
We have achieved breakthroughs that were not even dreamt before,
Whereas Life and time run on parallel symphony,
Like lyrics to a beat,
They produce the ever glorified,
Harmonies we call music,
Not this crap we hear on our airwaves,
But Music which flows through your body,
Linking the very fibers of creation,
One note by the other your body moves,
And a dance is born ,
Beat by beat,
a touch of heaven on earth,
Real music is like watching a sunset,
For the first time,
A beautiful composition of mother earth,
In its finest hour,
An inspiration to artists around The globe,
For millenias past,
And millennia come,
Life,destiny,mother earth,
Are all in service of time,
But what do u understand of time?
Is it a clock in your house,
Is it just am and pm,
Is it numbers one to twelve and rewind and back,
Is it memories with emotions that you have collected over age,
Or is it just invention of the mind,
To rule and govern our life cycle,
Or is time just a lie?
Am a ghost poet what are you?

Cheers to all sorrowful souls

I can’t keep blaming others for something I have control over.
I can’t keep wiping my tears coz of the damages I myself caused.

I can’t keep pulling myself down for every wrong mistake I have done.

I can’t keep carrying a heavy heart for the burdens I can cut out of my life

I can’t keep holding on to friends who don’t look through my eyes and see me.

I can’t wrap my shame and throw it away coz of all my fall outs whereas I can acknowledge and move past it.

I can’t hold on to a family that doesn’t recognize my weakness as much as they see my strength.

I can’t keep close my past claiming it reflects to my present situation whereas my future is bright.

I can’t keep falling and asking for forgiveness coz asking for forgiveness is easier than asking for permission.

I take full responsibilities of my actions. I am an adult enough to understand my responsibilities.

The consequences of my actions are something I fully understand.

I choose to accept where I am right now.

I am here coz I put myself here. This state is a right of passage to show me of what I shouldn’t be.

And for all the sad, sorrowful souls, bitter thoughts, and angry hearts its healing time.

Being alive an expression not really self-explanatory
Enjoying bits of moments an indicator of life
Being full of emotions a factor to live
Ability to hear, see, taste and touch, senses to express differences
And a brain to conjoin and relate experiences.
Just like the ever changing ocean tides, we are bound to change.
Life not to remain stagnated but a journey for the brain.
A journey of maturity, a journey of interaction
We have days so we can broaden experiences
Nights so we can relate them and broaden to other rea lms of fantasies
Emotions a greater factor than all others
Falling in love makes you stronger than any workout session can
A heartbreak brings you crumbling to the finest bits than any grinder can
Company of family and friends warms you better than any camp fire can
That is the beauty of change
This is the beauty of LIFE

A sailors call upon us,
Harsh but true,reality versus fiction,
I stand a sailor in the sea of life,
The harshness of reality is existing and ever growing,
As we paddle for our millions,
We are met by a million distractions,
Alas this is the society we live in,
Getting an education worth 20+ years of your life,
Working 25hours a day but the outcome,
As grim and meagre that u cannot afford higher than the minimum wage,
Yet u have mouths to feed,
People who look up to u to provide,
A responsibility you gave birth to,
You cannot run from it,
Morals and principles distinguish your individuality,
Sometimes it becomes to much to bear,
And the most needy men turn to crime,
A crime of fortune turns to a cry for the innocents,
A battle fought among ourselves and against the law,
The Law in my case given to us by a government corporation,
A plague invested with corruption and bribery,
Which seeks to oppress the poor and enrich its officials,
Where our individual products are treated with contempt and a lower grade,
Whereas the neighbours products is enshrined and worshipped,
This is my country kenya,
And your nation,
A sea of treachery,
A sea of thieves,
Wake up my fellow sailors,
Hear the sweet song of the mermaids,
For the few enlightened we paddle for rest,
I can see land in the horizon,
A land to better ourselves,
This is my cry; a sailors cry,
Will you answer?

Strings and dolls are just the beginning
Weird as it may seem,
A lot of us rarely ask are we puppets?
21years have passed,
And I still follow the system handed down,
From generation to generation,
The system dictates education is power,
Yet the most successful men are dropouts,
Illiterates govern the country,
While criminals are the most powerful individuals,
Why then are we taught to be sheep,
For the wolves to prey on?
Who says that a piece of paper can be currency,
The defining element between rich or poor,
Why should there be billionaires,
While there are billions dying of hunger,
Yes we accustom poverty to failure,
An act of laziness to some,
Why should u bring a child,
Into a world where all she will know is pain and suffering,
Where she will have to beg and squander,
For food and shelter,
Where she will have to sell the very essence that makes her special,
To men who will use and discard her,
Where she will be condemned for prostitution by the same men she pleasures,
Why should she be a puppet of Destiny?
Why do we let single individuals be the focus and limelight to our world?
We are so vexed with the lifes of the so called celebrities,
That we spend entire life savings ,
To view an individual,
Like a wild animal in a zoo,
Yet you have outstanding bills to cover,
Also instead of having friends and a life
We spend our lives following their gossips and rumours,
Truly is this literacy,
Is this the power of education?
Where we are robbed blind,
We are fucked Left and right,
Yet we are powerless to do anything,
Are we just slaves?
Puppets do our puppet masters bidding?
What are you?
